FILLOA FOLK
FILLOA FOLK
Music, and especially traditional Galician music, has always played a fundamental role in the Lestedo Filloa Festival.
For this reason, and in order to give it an even more prominent place within the event, in 2023 the Filloa Folk initiative was launched as a day completely dedicated to our melodies.
Filloa Folk takes place in Lestedo’s Campo de la Fiesta (fairground) on the day before celebration’s main day, which always falls on a Sunday. In this way, from mid-afternoon on Saturday, the neighbourhood of Boqueixón and its surroundings, as well as all visitors who come to Lestedo, can enjoy some of the most outstanding artists of Galician music, accompanied by local and new groups.

It should be noted that the Filloa Folk seeks to dynamize and promote Galicia’s artistic heritage by means of its music, based on collective creation and social participation. That is why, during the event, it is possible to enjoy traditional Galician dance featuring groups of people who, spontaneously, join the party with their dancing.
