Rules of the 5th Digital Photography Contest “Filloarte”

PARTICIPANTS

1. Any person of legal age may participate with their own, original photos taken with a mobile device or camera.

COMPETITION IMAGES

2. Photographs must be submitted with a title.
3. Images made with Artificial Intelligence are NOT allowed, although the author of the photographs is free to edit them as he/she prefers. The content and theme of the photographs will include one of the following aspects/ moments/ criteria: the preparation of the filloas, presentations of the filloa/s, creations based on the filloas, etc. Only images of the creation may appear in the photographs, no images of people may appear.

4. The photographs may not be contrary to the law, to the protection of children, to the dignity of women, to honour, to privacy or to the self-image of persons or entities. In this regard, and without prejudice to the sole responsibility of the author of the photographs, the competition organisers reserve the right to withdraw and/or deny participation in this competition to those photographs that are found, or reasonably suspected, to be in breach of this requirement.
5. Photographs must be original. Images submitted previously to this competition or other competitions will not be accepted.

SYSTEM OF PARTICIPATION

6. Each participant may submit a maximum of two photographs.
7. The images shall be sent to the following e-mail address: festadafilloadelestedo@gmail.com. The subject of the e-mail will be: ‘Filloarte 2025’ or ‘Filloa de Lestedo 2025’. In addition to the e-mail itself, the participant must provide information about his/her contact details (name and surname – or nickname – and telephone number), as well as the title of the photograph(s).
8. Dates of reception of the images: From 7 February 2025 until 23:59 hours on 2 March 2025.

VOTING, ELECTION OF WINNERS AND PRIZES

9. Prizes. This year there will be two competition modalities: the first one through Facebook and Instagram and the second one through a professional jury. In this way, the organisation will award 2 images this year: the image with the most ‘likes’ resulting from adding together the Facebook page of the Filloa Festival (https:// www.facebook.com/filloaoficial) and the Instagram account (@festadafilloadelestedo), once the voting period has ended; and the image chosen by a professional jury, which will meet before 6 March 2025.
10. Date and place of publication of the image gallery: The organisers will create an image gallery with all the photographs submitted, arranged in strict order of receipt, which will be published on the Facebook page of the Festa de la Filloa de Lestedo and on Instagram on 3 March 2025.
11. How to vote. People will be able to vote for the best photo by clicking on the ‘like’ button of the chosen photo on the
    the chosen photo on the Facebook page of the Filloa Festival (https:// www.facebook.com/filloaoficial) or by ‘liking’ the publication on Instagram. The professional jury will vote among the photos submitted, taking into account criteria of technical quality, composition, creativity…
12. Voting period: from 3 March until 7 March at 11.59 pm. At the end of the voting period, the two images with the most ‘likes’ and the two chosen images will receive the most votes.
13. The prizes for which the participants are eligible will be:
    – Jury prize: 150 euros in cash for the image chosen by the professional jury.
    – Public prize: 150 euros in cash for the image with the most ‘likes’ on Facebook/Instagram.
14. Dates of publication of the winning images: The organisation will publish the winning images on the Facebook of the Asociación Cultural de la Filloa de Lestedo and the Ayuntamiento de Boqueixón, as well as on the websites of these two entities, in the days following the end of the voting period.
15. The organisation will be in charge of managing the delivery of @dito prizes.
16. All participants, by the mere fact of entering this photographic competition, authorise the use of their images and the texts that accompany them in publications or reproductions that refer exclusively to the dissemination of the competition itself, which will not prevent the authors from retaining their Intellectual Property Rights in accordance with Law 11. 723 and are responsible for compliance with the legal provisions regarding the aforementioned law and the right to one’s own image, being responsible for ensuring that the dissemination, reproduction or publication of the work within the framework of this competition does not harm the rights of third parties.
17. Participation in this competition implies full acceptance of these rules.

2.- Purpose of the treatment: The data will be used to make you participate in the promoted activity described in this application, to publish the data of the participants on the website and on the Facebook of the Cultural Association of the Filloa de Lestedo (on the dates indicated, through a gallery to proceed to the vote) at the time when the jury does, as well as for the administrative management derived from the activity.
Failure to provide some of the information requested may make it impossible to register you for the activity requested by the Asociación Cultural de la Filloa de Lestedo.
Conservation period: the data provided will be kept as long as the deletion of the same is not requested and in any case, as long as the period of limitation of possible actions of responsibility derived from the treatment had not elapsed.
